FOUR

STAR

School

ECS has been named a FOUR-STAR School by IDOE.  Congratulations to students, parents, teachers, and staff.  In the letter from Glenda Ritz, Superintendent of Public Instruction, “the fact that our school met these high expectations is evidence of the hard work demonstrated daily by our staff and students.”  This is in addition to ECS' "A" rating.

Kindergarten

Reading

Video

On March 18, we videotaped numerous students in our kindergarten classes - these were unstaged sessions to give parents an idea of how well our kindergarten students are reading at the end of the 3rd grading period. Click here to watch the video - you will be amazed!  Click here to watch our kindergarten video.  We are enrolling for half-day (morning) and full-day kindergarten classes at all three campuses - East, North, and Newburgh. To download a tri-fold brochure on choosing a school, including questions to ask when visiting, click here.
