Affordability & Tuition Assistance
ECS has various options for financial assistance including Indiana’s Choice Scholarship Program.
We know that parents desire a school that meets their needs and supports their values. We also understand that tuition for Christian education is a significant investment which may be beyond the means of some families. The following are options available to families who qualify within specific program eligibility guidelines, and the Admissions Department is happy to explain the options in detail based on each family’s eligibility.
Indiana Choice Scholarship Program
Indiana’s Choice Scholarship Program enables qualified families to receive a credit (a school voucher) toward the cost of education at ECS. Detailed information about the Choice Scholarship Program is available from the Indiana Department of Education or review brief summaries below about how this program works for students at Evansville Christian School.

Indiana SGO Grants for Incoming Kindergarten Students
Incoming Kindergarten students who do not have a pathway for Indiana’s Choice Scholarship Program could be eligible for an SGO Grant towards tuition in Kindergarten. Receiving the SGO Grant provides a pathway for the Indiana Choice Scholarship Program in future years.
22/23 SGO Grants for Kindergarten
ECS is partnering with the Institute for Quality Education (I4QE) to provide SGO grants to Indiana residents whose child will be entering kindergarten, as well as other students who qualify based on income. Receiving an SGO grant provides students with a “pathway” to receive an Indiana Choice Scholarship (voucher) in future years. Specific deadlines apply.
ECS Tuition Assistance
ECS offers tuition assistance options primarily for families who do not qualify for the State programs, including those above the State income guidelines and those who do not live in Indiana. Generally, to qualify for ECS tuition assistance, tuition must be greater than 10% of the family’s annual income. Special circumstances are considered.
