Affordability & Tuition Assistance
ECS has various options for financial assistance including the State of Indiana’s School Choice and Voucher programs.
We know that parents desire a school that meets their needs and supports their values. We also understand that tuition for Christian education is a significant investment which may be beyond the means of some families. The following are options available to families who qualify within specific program eligibility guidelines, and the Admissions Department is happy to explain the options in detail based on each family’s eligibility.
Indiana School Choice Voucher
Indiana’s School Choice Voucher program enables qualified families to receive a credit (a school voucher) toward the cost of education at ECS. This program has eight pathways but the most common pathways are for students currently enrolled in an Indiana public school for at least two semesters including kindergarten (e.g. coming to ECS for 1st through high school), assigned to an “F” rated public school district, and SGO Grant recipients in the prior school year. Voucher applications must be completed at the ECS Business Office after the enrollment process is complete. Specific deadlines apply.
Indiana SGO Grants for Incoming Kindergarten Students
ECS is partnering with the Institute for Quality Education (I4QE) to provide SGO grants to Indiana residents whose child will be entering kindergarten, as well as other students who qualify based on income. Specific deadlines apply. The SGO application window for the 21/22 school year will be open through March 2022.
ECS Tuition Assistance
ECS offers tuition assistance options primarily for families who do not qualify for the State programs, including those above the State income guidelines and those who do not live in Indiana. Generally, to qualify for ECS tuition assistance, tuition must be greater than 10% of the family’s annual income. Special circumstances are considered.
