Get an inside look at what it means to be an ECHS Eagle!
Intentional Discipleship
ECS faculty and staff are committed to biblical integration of the subject matter while investing in the discipleship of students. We spend four years preparing them to thrive socially and academically as they develop into young men and women of Christian character and influence. Through a daily Bible classes, monthly Chapel experiences, and Bible study and service opportunities, students are encouraged to explore and deepen their relationship with Christ.
Student Experiences
High school students at ECS have ample choices in vibrant fine arts and athletic programs. 99% of high school students at ECS participate in a school-based activity! The student experience is well-rounded with student leadership opportunities, numerous athletic teams, growing fine arts offerings, extra-curricular clubs, and engaging service activities with local and global ministries. Learn more about Student Life opportunities.
Strong Academics
ECS has a rigorous offering of more than 75 college preparatory courses. An ECS student will graduate high school with the options of an Indiana Core 40, Academic Honors, or Technical Honors diploma which are aligned with, and exceed, the requirements from the Indiana Department of Education. Standard, Honors, Dual Credit and Advanced Placement courses are all part of the ECS high school experience.
Parents and students applying will want to consider that the atmosphere is distinctively and purposely Christian and that the course work is stimulating, challenging, and rigorous. Incoming students are required to meet overall GPA requirements and assessment requirements in both Math and ELA for entrance into the desired grade level.

Guidance Support
ECS has a solid team working together with the principal to help our high school students pursue and reach their God-given potential.
Our high school has two full-time guidance counselors who meet with every student to ensure that they are taking the high school courses right for the graduation diploma track that is best for them. Students also have the opportunity to take the PSAT at ECS during their 8th, 9th, and 10th grade years to prepare for the SAT which is administered at ECS for high school juniors.
High school students also have access to a full-time Wellness Counselor who meets with students regularly or as-needed to provide mental health support through Biblical counseling to help them manage the stressors that teenagers experience.
