With more than 75 college-preparatory courses, Evansville Christian School challenges students academically while ensuring graduates meet or exceed all Indiana Department of Education requirements.
College & Career
Readiness
From hands-on career exploration to AP, Dual Credit, and Dual Enrollment courses, students receive individualized college and career pathway coaching. They have the opportunity to graduate with over 40 college credit hours already completed!
Biblical Community
Through Christ-centered mentorship, intentional discipleship, and daily spiritual formation opportunities (such as daily Bible class, regular worship services, and Biblically-integrated teaching), ECS students build meaningful relationships while becoming deeply rooted followers of Jesus.

Grad Requirements

In December 2024, the State Board of Education approved new graduation requirements beginning with the Class of 2029. These changes are designed to ensure students are better prepared for college, career, and life beyond high school.

By graduation, ECS High School students will have grown in their God-given gifts through a wide range of academic, spiritual, and extracurricular opportunities, with the potential to earn over 40 college credit hours as they prepare for college, career, and life beyond the classroom.
Advanced Placement & Dual Credit
ECHS students are challenged through Advanced Placement and dual credit coursework that offers college-level rigor while still in high school. With over 14 available courses, students build strong academic habits, explore advanced subjects, and earn transferable college credit. This allows many students to graduate with a significant head start toward their degree.
Dual Enrollment
Through established partnerships with multiple colleges, universities, and academic institutions, ECHS offers dual enrollment opportunities that immerse students in authentic college experiences. Dual Enrollment opportunities are available thanks to partnerships with University of Evansville, Ivy Tech via Indiana Online, Taylor University, and Oklahoma Christian University.
College & Career
Readiness Partnerships
ECHS partners with local colleges, universities, and organizations to help students explore future possibilities. Through college visits, university open houses, career fairs, and professional exposure opportunities, students gain clarity about potential college majors and career pathways while building connections beyond the classroom. These partnerships include:
• Southern Indiana Career & Technical Center (SICTC) – potential to earn up to 12 college credits over 2 years
• Early College Program – Potential to earn up to 16 college credits over 2 years
• University of Evansville Bridge Program – Potential to earn up to 24 college credits over 2 years
College Pre-Admission & SAT Preparedness
ECHS equips students for success in the college admissions process through intentional preparation and personalized support.
Did you know? 100% of the Class of 2026 received pre-admission offers from partnering Indiana colleges and universities. ECS students also rank among the top in Indiana, placing in the top 2% of all public and private high schools statewide, second-highest in Southern Indiana, and well above the state average.

Throughout high school, students receive one-on-one college and career readiness coaching, along with graduation pathway planning tailored to their academic goals, interests, and calling. This personalized support ensures each student is prepared, confident, and ready for their next steps.
