Nutrition & Wellness

Evansville Christian School adheres to a Biblical Worldview in educating students in all aspects of life. According to scripture, our bodies are the temple of God and should be treated as such. We are to be good stewards of our bodies. Caring for and maintaining our bodies through proper nutrition and physical activity are a demonstration of responsibility for what God has given us.

“Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, who you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body.” 1 Corinthians 6:19-20

Summer Food Service Program

The Summer Food Service Program for Children (SFSP) was created to serve nutritious meals to children when the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Program meals are not available. To ensure all children receive proper nutrition throughout the year, SFSP reimburses organizations that prepare and serve meals to eligible children during the summer and school vacation periods.  Click here to find a location near you providing SFSP. Click here for a list of locations in Vanderburgh and Warrick counties.
