Tuition & Financial Aid
Enrolling at ECS means investing in your student’s future—academically, spiritually, and socially—equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and Biblical foundation to impact the world for Christ. While it requires a financial commitment, it’s one of the most meaningful investments you can make in your student’s life.
2026/2027 Tuition Rates
Tuition rates* vary based on your family’s county of residence and the payment plan you select, whether annual, semi-annual, or monthly. Indiana School Choice Scholarship amounts also differ depending on the public school district in which your family resides. Financial Aid
We know parents desire a school that meets their needs and supports their values. We also understand that tuition for Christian education is a significant investment which may be beyond the means of some families. The following are options available to families who qualify within specific program eligibility guidelines, and the Admissions Office is happy to explain the options in detail based on each family’s eligibility.
K-12 Indiana Choice Scholarship Program
Indiana’s Choice Scholarship Program enables families to receive a credit (a school voucher) toward the cost of education for Kindergarten through 12th grade at ECS. Learn about how the Choice Scholarship works specifically at ECS and the family’s financial commitment for tuition for grades K-12 at ECS at the link below.
Beginning in 2026/2027, Indiana’s transition to universal school choice will go into effect, expanding eligibility so that ALL families—regardless of income—can participate in the Choice Scholarship Program! The School Choice scholarship figures shown below reflect the 24/25 school year and are subject to change once updated state allocations are released in early Spring each year.
Tuition Assistance from ECS
ECS offers tuition assistance options for families who do not qualify for the State programs or request additional financial assistance beyond the Choice Scholarship program, including those who: are facing extenuating circumstances, have multiple students attending ECS, and reside outside of Indiana.
Families new to ECS can apply for tuition assistance for Kindergarten through 12th grade after admission is approved, and the amount of assistance varies per family and circumstance. Financial aid is not available to new families for Preschool & Pre-Kindergarten. New families can request an online K-12 tuition assistance application after admission is approved and payment of the non-refundable commitment fee. Deadlines apply.
Additional Information & Discretionary Fees
Fee Descriptions
Enrollment & Commitment Fee (for new and/or current families) — A one-time fee at the time of enrollment that secures your students’ place at ECS and serves as the basis for hiring teachers, purchasing books, and planning. We take your enrollment as a commitment to attend. After acceptance of new students, the Enrollment & Commitment Fee must be paid within one week.
Curriculum/Supply/Technology Fee — This annual fee provides the necessary funding for curriculum materials, classroom supplies, and technology resources that equip students for academic and spiritual growth. It includes costs associated with textbooks, school-managed laptops (6th-12th grade), instructional materials, digital learning tools, and software systems that support ECS’s commitment to excellence in Christ-centered education.
Setting Up Payment Plans
Upon enrollment at ECS, families are automatically enrolled in the FACTS Payment Management System, which provides three payment plan options (annually, semi-annually, and 10-month) to accommodate varying financial preferences.
A $20 change-over fee will be applied for any changes to enrollment options or payment plans after the first day of school.
The ACH option is available to families for Tuition Payment Plans and Incidentals. Monthly incidental invoices, generated around the 15th of each month, will detail the charges to be debited from your bank account.
Tuition Deadlines, Late Fees, & Past Due Balances
If the August tuition payment and June 1 & July 1 Curriculum/Supply/Technology fees are not received by the due date, ECS reserves the right to withdraw the student and offer the spot to a student from the wait pool.
A late fee of $25 will be charged to past due accounts and for each subsequent month until accounts are current.
A past-due balance of two months may be cause for student dismissal. Any tuition assistance package at ECS requires that parent’s accounts remain paid up-to-date. At 90 days past due, formal collection proceedings may begin and additional costs incurred are the responsibility of the parent and will be added to the balance due.
A $30 charge will be assessed for all NSF checks/payment failures and may result in a family being required to pay in cash.
Cafeteria Fees*
Meals are served at each respective campus and are invoiced around the 15th of each month**. ECS participates in the National School Lunch Program operated by the Department of Education (not applicable at the High School) and adheres to its nutrition guidelines.
Breakfast — $1.65/meal (PS-PK served at the Crossroads Campus; K-12 served at the Elementary Campus)
Milk — $0.75/carton for PS-8th Grade
Lunch —
PS-8th Grade: $3.75 per cafeteria meal; $2.50 per extra entree
High School: $5.00 per meal Chick-fil-A on Mondays and $3.25 per meal Pizza on Fridays
*Cafeteria fees are projected and subject to change based on IDOE or vendor requirements.
**Because invoices are generated around the 15th of each month, cafeteria fees on an invoice will include charges from the previous mid-month to current mid-month. For example, cafeteria fees on invoices due October 1 are for mid-August to mid-September.
Before & After School Care (BASC)
Elementary and Middle School Students — Enrollment is managed through the YMCA and may be limited to maintain a consistent student-to-staff ratio. 7th and 8th grade students may ride the bus to and from the Elementary Campus for BASC at no additional cost.
Preschool & PreK Students — BASC for the Crossroads Campus (PS/PK) is managed by ECS staff. See information below.
| BASC Options (PS & PK Only) | 10 Monthly Payments * |
| Before School Care (opens at 6:30 a.m.) | $75 |
| After School Care (open until 5:30 p.m.) | $150 |
| Before & After School Care | $220 |
Drop-In Care — $15 per hour (minimum one hour) and based on available space (contact the school office before using).
Late Pick-up Fee — $20 for each 15 minutes that a student is picked up after closing time. After school care privileges may be revoked if late pick-up is misused.
Bus Service
Buses operate among our campuses with some limitations. Families must complete a Bus Transportation Form each school year, and it is available in FACTS or through the Business Office (812-477-7777).
Bus fees vary based on which of the available transportation scenarios best fits your family’s needs, as outlined in the form. Bus service does not include transportation to or from extracurricular activities. A new Bus Transportation Form must be submitted by June 1 each year.
Athletics Fees
Fees vary by sport. Costs are subject to change and will be communicated to parents before tryouts or at the beginning of the season.
Please Note: For students participating in high school sports, the fee excludes the cost of IHSAA (Indiana High School Athletic Association) required physical. Further, the IHSAA requires that tuition expenses not covered by allowable merit aid or need-based financial aid must be paid by immediate family/legal guardians. Please refer to IHSAA rules for more information.
High School Fees
Student Parking Fee – $25 per semester is required for students who park at the high school campus, billed in August and January. Available only for 10th-12th grade students who meet ECS requirements.
National Honor Society (HS) — A $10 renewal fee will be charged to accounts for all National Honor Society members in the Spring.
Other Extracurriculars — Some extracurricular activities require a small fee. This information will be communicated to students and parents by high school staff in a timely manner.
Placement Testing/Non-Traditional School Background
Applicants from a non-traditional school background are required to take a placement assessment administered by ECS. A $50 fee per student is due
at the assessment session.
Half Day Tuition (HS Only)
Juniors and seniors may be approved for a half-day schedule under very specific circumstances and with administrative approval. Parents or guardians of enrolled students may contact the high school principal for additional information. Annual tuition is $6,390.
Withdrawals
Families who withdraw a student during the school year must submit the official online withdrawal form to the Business Office. Per ECS policy, tuition for the remainder of the semester—based on your selected payment plan—will still be owed regardless of the withdrawal date. State funding and any ECS Tuition Assistance awards end on the student’s final day of enrollment, and any remaining tuition not covered by these programs becomes the family’s financial responsibility. All outstanding balances are due in full according to ECS’s standard billing and collection policies.
