Students in grades 1-8 take Spanish class in their “specials” rotation. The elementary students learn about the Spanish culture and language through a wide variety of activities, including games, crafts, videos, books, and more. Middle school students work to build fluency through practicing common, every day questions and answers.
At the high school level, we offer Spanish I, II, III, IV, and V. Courses are based on Indiana’s Academic Standards for World Languages and are taught by a licensed teacher. Students are continually working toward fluency by having both written and spoken input from a variety of native speakers.
